How To Breakthrough in the Business Niche
The business niche on YouTube is somewhat of a mystery.
You see prominent creators like Simon Squibb become famous out of nowhere.
Simon Squibb
And then you see dozens of creators in 20 adjacent niches copying the “X Years of Y Knowledge in {timeframe}” format.
On the other hand, you will find channels that have thousands of subscribers, with videos that are getting barely hundreds of views.
And these guys aren’t just joe schmo yapping into the camera, these are qualified 8-9 figure business guys who have built REAL businesses with real business connections.
It seemed like it would be easy for these CEOs to stand out in the crowd with their credentials, but they were struggling more than ever.
So… what makes a business channel standout in the homepage, while others never see the light of day?
It comes down to 1 thing:
Quality of Insight
There are literally thousands of videos of 18-25 year olds making business content to try to appeal to an older more sophisticated demographic.
If you’re in the make money online space on YouTube, you’ll find a ton of videos doing IMAN GADZHI SECRET $100M FUNNEL breakdowns, or videos talking about how they made $100k/m with this forbidden skool funnel.
There is just so much noise right now, with everyone shooting out claims like they’ve been in business for 20 years when they’ve scaled a client to $100k/m growth operating.
And if you look across the board of these top business creators, the one thing that they stand out with is the quality of insight.
Simon Squibb had a banger video with over 6M views not just because the video had great positioning, but also because of how well written the script was. When you watch the video, and breakdown the script, he hits the awareness level of the viewer right where they’re at and delivers straightforward no BS value.
Alex Hormozi has had videos with millions of views not just because the content is good, but also because the content is infused with his insights from running businesses doing $200M in revenue.
If Simon and Alex didn’t run their businesses and didn’t have the actual experience, I don’t believe that they would stand out.
Because of the nature of business, the only way for you to acquire business wisdom is by growing your own business for a long period of time, and then talking about your experience and how you did it.
There isn’t faking it.
Everyone can see through the Lambos and the nice watches.
You need to differentiate through insight, which must be earned.
So the next time that you sit down and write a script, ask yourself,
“What is something that I have learned and earned, that no one else can say?”
Then just make content around that.
Guarantee to go viral pinky promise.
Hope this helps.
