What does it really take?

Is it a better camera? More flashy editing? A more clickable thumbnail?

Why is it that the top YouTubers like Alex Hormozi have managed to skyrocket their personal brand in just a few short years to become authorities in their own right, while everyone else is struggling to get that sweet YouTube money?

Let me tell you about my good friend Andre.

Andre came to me in December 2022, back in my Twitter Ghostwriting days looking for mentorship.

I said yes.

He paid me $120 to get access to my DMs.

He asked me a couple of questions, and then he disappeared for 4 months to work in the shadows.

Was a little weird, but I thought nothing of it.

In April, I decided to drop him a message to check in on him.

I expected him to come back to me still wondering about his niche or still figuring stuff out.

But it turns out… he was killing it.

He was making partnerships left and right, getting his hands dirty in cold email, copywriting and building AI models.

He was making money moves.

And I’m gonna be honest… he wasn’t the best copywriter, he wasn’t the best marketer, he wasn’t the best coder.

I wouldn’t say that he was particularly talented at a single skill.

But he had one thing that no one else could take away from him:

His Conviction

If you came to him for advice, he would make you believe that you could lift the world.

He spoke about his future with such deep confidence about the great things that he was going to do, it was impossible to doubt him.

Right now, Andre has focused all his energy on building Large Language Models and AI bots for companies. He’s slinging deals and growing his company fast.

But Bryan… what does this have to do with YouTube?

If you want to become the top 1% in any industry, be it crypto, marketing, or whatever niche that you are in, you can be the best salesman in the world, you can be the best coder in the world…

But if you don’t have the conviction that you will pull it off, you will never become the top 1%.

A person with average skills but high conviction will always beat the person with great skills but average conviction.

So build that confidence that you will make it on YouTube.

Write that next script.

Edit that next video.

Because one day, your next video could change your whole life.

And the only person that you will be thanking, is you for believing in yourself.
