I'm sick of travelling

If you know me personally, you’d know that I just got out of the military on April 1st.

For the past 2 years, I’d been serving the Singapore military as compulsory “national service”.

That’s what they call it.

And for the past 20 days, I’ve been traveling all around Europe.

London, Milan, Bologna, Amsterdam and now Sweden.

And can I just say one thing:

WHY DIDN’T ANYONE TELL ME THERE WAS SO MUCH PLANNING TO DO?

I’m incredibly grateful that I’m able to travel wherever and whenever I want.

I am.

But I didn’t expect that to be so much planning to do, while keeping up with scripts, and sales calls, and hiring.

I’m dragging my luggage from one Airbnb to another.

Freezing in cold Sweden (it’s not even that cold here I’m just not used to it).

And I haven’t found a studio to film my next YouTube video.

The last thing I have on my mind is which tourist attraction I’ll be going to tomorrow.

This is what I’d imagine being a business owner doing YouTube feels like. You have a team to manage, you have to get on sales calls among 50 other fires you have to put out.

And at the very bottom of that list is:

“Write and film next YouTube script”.

Both of which never get done because you can’t find the time to write it.

And when you do, it’s as if all of the energy gets sucked out of your soul as you stare at the blank page with writer’s block.

At the same time, you know that making YouTube videos is one of the highest leverage activities for your business and brand long term.

Writing the script just so happens to be the biggest bottleneck.

In fact, today one of my clients sent me this:

“$40,000 in 1 week” because he could put all his energy towards sales calls.

Sometimes getting a professional scriptwriter isn’t just about going viral, it’s also about buying back your focus.

Actionable YouTube Tip of The Day:

  1. If you’re stuck with writer’s block, set a physical timer on your table.

  2. Put it for 1 hour and just write everything on your mind

  3. Come back a few days later to format it.

  4. Enjoy life.

How I Can Help You:

  1. I have a tonne of free content that will help you grow your YouTube channel on my YouTube. I post valuable insights and bangers of my own every week. I package YouTube concepts in a simple way so you can grow your own channel too.

  2. I post daily on Twitter/X too. Follow me there for daily scriptwriting insights/ YouTube trends.

  3. If you’d like to hear about how I could help you grow your YouTube channel with viral scripts, you can book a call with me here. I might be able to help you grow faster, or I might be able to refer you to someone who can.

Hope this helps,
