Iman Gadzhi's DARK Manipulation Marketing Tactic

Iman Gadzhi gets a lot of flak for selling courses.

Just the other day I was having a heated debate with a friend on whether he was evil or not.

That’s a story for another day.

What I want to talk about is a scripting tactic that Iman Gadzhi uses in almost all his videos.

And is a strong common theme that you see in almost EVERY single video.

It’s so prevalent to the point that you can’t call it a coincidence.

And I think bringing it to your awareness will change the way that you approach how you market yourself.

A few days ago on the plane I was watching this video:

The topic was about how the elite rich abuse the system to get unfair advantages.

Guys like Warren Buffet, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, etc.

And then I watched this video:

And he was quoting the regular cast of the elite crew.

What do they say… Once is an accident, twice is coincidence, blah blah blah.

And when I watched video, after video, he mentioned a member of the elite rich in every video at least once without fail.

This is a strategy called Association.

Iman is far from being a multi billionaire, but because he mentions Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and friends in every video, we slowly start to associate Iman’s name with the elite rich.

And he’s done this so consistently in his videos over the years, that now everyone perceives him to be this ultra successful businessman (rightfully so).

You don’t just see this in Gadzhi’s content.

In the YouTube education space, almost every video contains a Mr. Beast quote on how to grow on YouTube.

By mentioning the undisputed GOAT of YouTube, your favourite YouTube education channel indirectly associates themselves with his brand in some way, subconsciously getting the stamp of approval in the viewer’s mind.

So… if you want to grow your brand to be associated with luxury, you should wear a Rolex and Louis Vuitton in every video.

Or if you want your content to be associated with being trustworthy, you can quote scientific and research papers.

Or if you’re an investing channel and you want to preach prudent investing, just quote Buffet in every video.

Your brand isn’t defined by the thumbnail or background style. People remember you because of the words that you say.

Just an interesting observation I thought I’d share.

P.S. I’m writing this from an ice cream store in Mykonos.

I might be the only guy who takes his laptop out and works in an ice cream store.

Hope you have a beautiful day :)
