Scripting a video is tough.

It can often take 5-7 hours (or even more than that) to get a coherent thought onto paper.

And then after you script it you run the risk of coming off robotic on-camera.

But when you do write out your exact thoughts, structure it with a storytelling arc, incorporate easy to understand analogies into your script,

Something magical happens.

Your retention improves drastically.

Your video goes viral over and over again.

And you will get more leads for your business.

But for most business owners and creators, the scripting process solves another prominent problem when it comes to writing.

And that problem is…

The Time Sink of Recording

If you’re anything like me, you’ll know that recording is a pain in the a**.

Nobody likes spending hours and hours in front of the camera, stumbling from word to word, repeating the same line 10 times so that your editor won’t have to cut you off every 3 seconds to stitch together a coherent clip.

The real value comes in the time saved in recording.

Most entrepreneurs can’t afford the time to spend 5 hours in front of the camera.

Much less have the energy to yell into the camera the same line over and over again.

With a script however, for a 10-minute video, you only have to spend 30min - 1 hour recording it.

You already have all of your thoughts on paper/teleprompter.

All you have to do is get your pretty face in front of the camera, talk for a few minutes and the video goes into editing.

Bonus benefit if you’re editing: You won’t have to spend 3 hours just cutting out redundancies.
