I still own Twitter

Call me Elon Musk...

Back in the day, I used to run a Twitter ghostwriting agency.

And by agency, I mean it was just me.

I used to write tweets and threads that would get hundreds of thousands of views.

But then I shut that down to go all in on YouTube scriptwriting.

And… let’s just say I got rusty.

I didn’t write tweets for months. I’d go on sprees where I would schedule for a week, and then skip the next week.

Just overall terrible marketing.

Doubt crept up on me.

“Will I ever get back to the glory days? Have I forgotten how to use Twitter?”

And so I embarked on a mission.

1 Viral Thread by the end of the week.

I posted one thread about the top 5 books to read to become a better scriptwriter.

Let’s just say it got 10 likes lol.

And then today, I posted this thread.

Iman Gadzhi Breakdown

And just like magic, almost 1M impressions on a thread about Gadzhi’s famous VSL.

I saw a ton of these breakdowns of famous entrepreneurs happening in the self-improvement space of twitter.

So I took the same viral format, put my own spin to it to be targetted towards scriptwriting, and we went viral.

The same principles can be applied to YouTube scriptwriting, or any writing for that matter.

When you see a hook that’s performing exceedingly well, save that into a swipefile.

And that will end up becoming your library of hooks that you can refer to when you need inspiration for how to start your videos.

If you want, you can steal my hook swipefile.

Actionable YouTube Tip of The Day:

  1. Swipe your favourite creators to see how they are writing their hooks

  2. Put it all into a Google Doc for future reference

  3. I like looking at Iman Gadzhi’s, Alex Hormozi’s and Ludwig’s hooks for inspiration.

How I Can Help You:

  1. I have a tonne of free content that will help you grow your YouTube channel on my YouTube. I post valuable insights and bangers of my own every week. I package YouTube concepts in a simple way so you can grow your own channel too.

  2. I post daily on Twitter/X too. Follow me there for daily scriptwriting insights/ YouTube trends.

  3. If you’d like to hear about how I could help you grow your YouTube channel with viral scripts, you can book a call with me here. I might be able to help you grow faster, or I might be able to refer you to someone who can.

Hope this helps,

Bryan
